Rana el Kaliouby is a leading thinker on a technological development that will change our entire world—artificial intelligence.
She is co-founder and CEO of Affectiva (A-Fectiva), an MIT Media Lab spin-off that pioneers Human Perception AI, or artificial intelligence that can understand all things human. Rana has a PhD from University of Cambridge and a Post Doctorate at MIT. She has delivered a TED Talk that has been. viewed nearly 2 million times and is the author of the new book, Girl Decoded, which released April 21.
Rana joined host Robert Glazer on the Elevate Podcast to talk about growing up in Egypt and Kuwait, studying at the world’s top educational institutions, her work developing AI, and much more.
