The journey to writing this book started with the most important realization of my professional life.

It was 2017. Acceleration Partners, the leading company I’d founded 10 years earlier, was rapidly growing. We had a strong organizational culture and a lot of excellent people on our team, but our breakneck growth rate was clearly pushing some of our team to a breaking point.
